Vence is situated at 7 km from the coast, near Nice, Antibes and Cannes and closeby the artist village of Saint Paul de Vence. Within half an hour you are in Grasse, the city known for its perfume factories and in 45 minutes you can be in Monaco, at one hour distance is Menton, the border village to Italy known for its lemon fest every February. The back country of Vence is also beautiful. You will find many medieval villages that are very much worth a visit. Their surroundings often contain options for walks and hikes through nature. This region boasts a wealth of nature and culture. But there are also many options for active outings, watersports and beaches. The enormous variety of activities, sites and beaches will keep you occupied and entertained.
